The best way to live peacefully in an environment that's not your's is respect there way of life and learn how to mind your business.
I'm very impressed by this improvement that can easily unite our country
Every northern state you go to there are large communities of igbos ans yourubas that have been living there for decades but they never talk about this in the news and unfortunately those that haven't been to the north aside from abuja, have no idea.
We need more of this type of journalism in spreading light to misconceptions especially avout the north
Nigeria is for everybody regardless of tribes or religion we all settle in a plc that Favors us,am a hausa person who was born and raised in Delta State and so as my parents in anambra, we all love and respect each other there.❤ Again Nigeria is for everybody ❤❤❤
This gives goosebumps, Ibos in Kano for years
Why? Is Nigeria not supposed to be one country? Every Ibo city has Hausa Quarters ( Ama Awusa) where Northern people live and thrive and are never targets of religious and ethnic riots. Aba even manages to have Mosque Road, Uthman Dan Fodio Road etc. for over hundred years. And the first elected Mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man Alhaji Umaru Altine etc. Some people have chosen to deploy violence as a political tool but this business of living in other ethnic domains cut both ways.
Kano is very peaceful if you can mind your business ❤
Peaceful ke North for that matter
😂😂😂
Peace served as a pilot for economic development, let's continue to promote peace among the different ethnicity of Nigeria.
Am proud to be born and brought up in Kano, although I reside in Spain but Kano will forever be my home.

What are you insinuating
The trouble makers are the ibos themselves
This type of video should be encouraged to show that we are one despite our different ethnicity. Kudos to you for this video.
Thank you
That you and who are one? The problem with this kind of magical thinking is that it leaves no room for a realistic engagement of the national question in Nigeria. If you are one, then why are Ibos pointedly excluded from central power and their region denied meaningful investment e.g. in the railway sector which is even extended to Niger republic with foreign loans? Please go and rest.
Show us other tribes thriving in the East as well. We also want to see the accommodating nature of the Igbos
The non-Igbo communities in southeast are very small. Even Igbo themselves leave southeast for other parts of the country and stay long once the place becomes viable.
@davidmalonti7464 The question for me is why do the Igbos relocate enmass to other regions and other regions don't relocate to Igboland. I think it has to do with economic viability of a region.
@@fredkiller5132 Marginalization and lack of federal investment in southeast is the major cause Igbos relocating to other regions for better opportunities.Meanwhile we still have over 25 million Igbos living and working in SE..

Northern lifestyle is really impressive.

Igbos in the north should have backup businesses in their homes in the East. You can invest in real estate as your backup plans.
I have an Igbo family friend who does onions business in Enugu. He has built several houses and has tenants. But you can never see Northerners buying lands and developing parts of the East where they live in. These are people who have done the same business much longer.
Parts of southern Nigeria dominated by Northerners are always the dirtiest. Meanwhile, those guys are making a lot of money from the South. You cannot say the same for Igbos living in the North. This simply tells you that the Northerners don't believe in your illusive One Nigeria.
Furthermore, you can keep deceiving yourselves, but we know that Northern Nigeria is the most volatile part of the country. Every little thing results in massive killings of the Igbos. Don't be a sacrificial lamb of Nigeria; dying for Nigeria is not worth it. The moment you become stable in the North, sell off your business and move. Your life is more important than money. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Those northerners in the South East you see are all apprentice and servants as their real masters are in Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna etc. Don't be fooled, they own nothing and are simply working for the Aladji. That's why they are so dirty and can buy or rent a descent property.

See this one. Who is ever happy in prison? Those Ibos in Kano are in prison of their own making because they can cut the crap right now and leave that violent place for their own good. Imagine a place where an argument over the price of tuwo in a Kano market can quickly snowball into a monumental crisis that can lead in the burning down of everything you own! Go to Iboland and you see the meaning of happiness- Hausa boys and girls interacting normally among themselves in Okigwe; night life in Ama Awusa in Aba, Owerri, Asaba, Awka etc. Landlord travel and see.
Okay o
Kano the second major cities if Nigeria
That is a fat Fulani lie. You counted cows and goats to inflate numbers. Kano is not even more populated than Aba.
@Vinus7😂😂😂😂39
What makes kano second major city? An urban sprawl of several million huts and one-bed bungalows may spread over a large expanse of land is not necessarily bigger in population than a compact city with high rise buildings. That is why you lot will always fail any test involving logical reasoning. If you want to know the truth, allow a credible census.
In Lagos they destroy Igbos properties illegally without any notification while here in the North an Igbo man is free to vote his choice during election and own any property he like without any discrimination or threat. Yorubas come learn from us how to live and interact with non Yorubas.
Don't come up with that sentiment!!! There are Igbos in my area where I reside in lagos. Every night, they hold a night party, making a deafening noise with their language, but never ever had they been chased out of the area and I imagined if such nuisance would be tolerated in the south-east region. Igbos always want to outsmart Yoruba but all their efforts proved abortive. Yorubas are affable; we accommodates many tribes from different part of the states; we don't advocate discrimination; but we will never accept being outwitted.
Ask him how many non-igbo are thriving in the South East. How many of those tribe have kings in the South East the way Igbo does across Nigeria and Ghana. How much land do they sell to Yoruba in the South East?

Always Lagos this, Lagos that. No conversation can be had without losers like you ranting incoherently about Lagos. The same Lagos that bankrupted Nigeria on which the bulk of the oil revenue earned by the country was spent. Without oil money to repair and maintain it, even the so-called 4th mainland bridge would have fallen into disrepair already. So get a flipping life.

Hausas l knew growing up, in the late sixties b4 the Civil war though in Niger Delta were very nice people. I think it's the Fulanis deceived by the Yorubas that have caused these damages
The Hausa's you knew then, are still the same good people today.
Those asking for Yoruba owned land in Igbo states have never lived outside their area.
You only use falsehood to push unfounded cowardly comments. Come and invest in Igbo land. Nooo. But the Igbos who invest in your land are not cowards.
1993 June 12 riots opened the eyes of Yorubas to their fate anyday Igbos leave Lagos.

Mr man, you go school at all? If you did, then you would know that wherever you see a structure, there is a function, The "crown kings" you deride is there for a purpose. Its function becomes clearer when Kano descends into chaos and frenzied ethnic riots targeting Ibos as it often does. At that time, even Yorubas find the usefulness and security implications of "crown kings". For now, keep dissing what you do not understand.
In the whole of nigeria it is only yorubas you hear talking about tribalism and discrimination in my life I never see people like yorubas honestly.

Why you ibos not tell Hausa that Kano is no man's land. I'm glad you mention they're you're host community just like Lagos host you but because too much privileges given to ibos in Lagos, you now want to be dragging ownership with Lagosians.
You are a Yoruba man and Lagos does not belong to you. The idea of Lagos as no mans land was that of Alhaji Lateef Jakande, a former governor and Lagos indigene in who made the claim in his bid to make Lagos a home to everyone. So shush.

Aishat Abdullahi, yea right. Ibo will be Ibo, Hausa will be Hausa, Yoruba will be Yoruba. Prof. Chike Obi named his son Mustapha and Zik named his son Bamidele. Did any of that save Ibos from pogroms and genocide in 1966-70 and did that save Akaluka? No! So what's the flipping point? Just go and sit down and make person hear something, ok?
Yeah right. Whatever. Nothing is said about Gideon Akaluka, the pogroms and massacres. Everything is
